I've been working in accounting since 2010 — starting in Accounts Receivable and moving through every layer of the function. AP Manager. Accounting Manager. Assistant Controller. Then I found Controllership, and that's where the work clicked.

I've sat in the controller's seat for businesses ranging from $300K to $500M in revenue, including a Regional Controller role overseeing multi-entity operations. Different industries, different sizes — but the same underlying truth: good financials are the foundation for growth. Without them, every decision is a guess.

I started Land Bank Accounting because I kept seeing the same gap from the in-house side. Small businesses growing fast, full of passion for what they do, but flying without the financial visibility they need to make good calls. Hiring a full-time Controller wasn't realistic for them. So they made do — and "made do" almost always meant decisions made on incomplete information.

I wanted to work with several of them at once. Companies whose owners are pouring everything into their craft, who deserve clean, reliable financials so they can keep building. They get to do what they love. I get to do what I love. That's the whole idea.
